Conasbrancas 2019

$46.00 per bottle | $276.00 case of 6

The vineyards are located on terraces along the steep slopes of the rivers Sil and Bibei at between 700 and 750 metres above sea level. Soils consist of decomposed granite, schist and sand. The climate is continental, although proximity to the Atlantic Ocean makes this area more humid and rainy than most of Spain, with around 800 mm each year.

A blend of Doña Blanca and Godello, Conasbrancas is soft, dry, saline and tight. There's an earthy touch, a little spice with hints of pollen and beeswax. The palate has vibrant acidity and a long, mineral aftertaste. It improves and gets more focused in the glass, developing more floral aromas. Easygoing but not underpowered.
