Arcaro is the signature D.S. bio wine, a white wine made from 100% Maturano grapes grown organically and biodynamically on clay and sandstone soils in the Maturano del Frusinate IGT region. The grapes are hand-harvested in boxes before being brought to the cellar.
The wine is aged in concrete tanks, maceration occurs without the skins and with indigenous yeasts. No clarification or filtration.
Arcaro is straw yellow in colour with very marked mineral notes emerging on the nose, with hints of spices and citrus as well. Fresh and tasty on the palate with good persistence.
