Joven Vinas Viejas is a great introduction to Goyo García's unique artisanal, minimal-interventionist winemaking style. A single-vineyard Tempranillo wine, Joven Vinas Viejas is grown on sandy clay and limestone soils 880 metres above sea level in Spain's Ribeira del Duero region.
The grapes are hand-harvested, destemmed, and then fermented with indigenous yeasts in steel tanks. Pair this wine with lamb, sausages or beef.
