The 60 year old vines used in Las Umbrias, growing at an altitude of 1100 meters in a mere 0.35 hectares of granite and clay soil, was the first wine produced by Comando G in 2008.
Produced in a near identical manner as the 1er Cru, in the words of Dani and Fernando: "Las Umbrias is very Burgundian; an ethereal Garnacha, delicate, fragile, elegant… subtlety in all its splendour.”
The distinct balsamic notes are in perfect balance with the bright fruit, delivering a serious and completely satisfying experience.
