Volumnia is a red blend of organic 40% Lecinaro, 40% Sangiovese and 20% Uva Giulia grown biodynamically on clay-flint soils in the Rosso del Rosinate IGT region.
The wine is fermented in cement tanks, with maceration on the skins for the entire duration of the spontaneous fermentation which is on average 15-20 days long. No clarification or filtration.
Volumnia is ruby red in the glass with aromas of red fruit, blackberry, blueberry, plum and hints of ether.
Fresh, soft and firmly sapid on the palate with good persistence.
