The Finca L’Argatà 2016 is made from 85% Garnatxa and 15% Syrah, fermented in concrete, then aged in old oak barrels. The old vine Garnatxa in the 2016 vintage has a higher level of reﬁnement than previous vintages, as the brothers continue to develop their approach to winemaking.
Bright ruby-red, the Finca l’Argata offers aromas and ﬂavours of ripe dark berries and cherry, liquorice and smoky herbs.
Fleshy and broad on entry, then tighter in the middle, the Finca l’Argata tastes of sweet cherry compote, blackberry, with a touch of bitter chocolate. Dusty tannins help shape the long, ﬂoral and spice-accented ﬁnish.
