The Vibe: A modern “village red” with Mediterranean swagger: deep color, real density, but built on freshness rather than heaviness—more sunset warmth + mountain-night snap than jammy blockbuster. It’s the kind of bottle that feels both rustic and intentional.
The Taste: Think dark red fruit turned vivid (cranberry/cherry energy), a peppery lift, and a savory-spice thread (clove/bay-leaf-adjacent) that keeps the fruit honest. Tannins read leathered and grippy—structured, not harsh—so it stays food-friendly even with all that color and flavor.
The Story: This is La Comarcal’s 2024 village bottling from Font de la Figuera, sourced from different vineyards and shaped around an unusual blend: 50% Cabernet Franc, 25% Monastrell, 25% Arcos (a local Valencian variety the team has been actively working with).
Winemaking keeps the profile clean and energetic: each variety ferments separately, with 50% whole clusters, all in stainless steel, and the wine stays in stainless for six months. 14.5% ABV.

Best Enjoyed With
Serve just under room temp (~15°C). Ideal with grilled lamb or pork, smoky rice dishes, mushrooms, or anything with rosemary/thyme—the herbal-savory side of the wine slots right in.
