This wine is made from Tempranillo the most planted variety in Rioja. Grapes are handpicked, sorted, destemmed and naturally fermented. The wine is aged for one year in 500-litre barrels.
This wine has a medium ruby colour with primary fruit aromas of raspberries, redcurrant, red cherries, black cherries, black berries, and plums. Secondary aromas such as toast, vanilla, nutmeg and cloves due to the lees contact and ageing for one year in barrel.
The palate is textured with good tannins. Good acidity, body and length.
