The 2023 Laventura Viura was produced with grapes from different vineyards in the Sierra Cantabria at 500+ meters above sea level. Viura goes well with oak, and this fermented in a 2,500-liter oak foudre, where it matured with lees for one year, but the
wood does not have an aromatic influence on the wine, which combines ripeness with freshness, mineral austerity and elegance. It has a round palate, good ripeness with 13.5% alcohol, good freshness and acidity, and it's bone dry and serious. Even though
the wine does not carry organic certification, the vineyards are certified organic. 3,333 bottles produced. It was bottled in November 2024.
