The Taste In the glass, it shows a deep pomegranate red. The nose is intense, yielding aromas of blueberry jam and rosemary oil, cut through by fresh, cooling balsamic notes. On the palate, the wine is rich and expansive; expect sweet, silky tannins that carry a complex array of flavors—from spicy black pepper and clove to hints of fennel, tobacco, and wild lavender. It finishes with a long, savory persistence.

The Story Ónra Negre is a masterfully composed blend of Red Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Tempranillo, and Merlot. Grown in the unique, stony soils of a restored gravel quarry, these vines benefit from the dramatic temperature swings of the Costers del Segre region. The estate has been certified organic by the CCPAE since its inception in 2006 and is farmed according to strict biodynamic principles (Demeter). Winemaker Pilar Salillas focuses on capturing the "wild" side of the estate, using indigenous yeasts and careful aging to ensure the herbal and spicy character of the land shines through.
