The Vibe This started as a conversation at harvest and became a wine sold in four countries. Cosecha and Celler Comunica's Pep Aguilar and Patri Morillo created Foxy Lady as a custom cuvée available only in Canada — now in its fourth vintage, it has since found its way to Spain, the UK, and Germany. Named for the Jimi Hendrix song, it plays by its own rules: deeper than a rosé, lighter than a red, and more interesting than either category suggests.

The Taste Strawberry, watermelon, grapefruit zest, hints of wet slate, cinnamon, and white pepper — real weight and body that still feels fresh. Pep and Patri use no oak — the texture here comes entirely from 18 hours of skin contact and the character of the soils. The granite drives freshness and bright clean fruit; the limestone adds grip and saline depth. 2022 was a dry, concentrated vintage — more floral and fruit-expressive than previous years, with added volume, landing closer to a light red than the earlier vintages.

The Story Celler Comunica sits on the Mas d'en Cosme estate in Falset, where Pep and Patri chose granitic soils specifically for their ability to produce fresh, vibrant wines — the kind of vineyard character that disappears under oak and extraction. Barrique Fine Wines On summer evenings, despite the heat, a cool Atlantic breeze rolls through to preserve the acidity and aromatics that make Montsant worth drinking young. Barrique Fine Wines Cosecha joined the winemaking at harvest — selecting fruit, working the cellar — and Foxy Lady is the result of that access. Half the grapes were directly pressed for freshness; half saw 18 hours on skins for depth. No oak. No intervention. Just Montsant doing what granite lets it do.

Best Enjoyed With Serve chilled at 12–14°C. Sashimi, grilled salmon, slow-roasted lamb, steak, or a weekend barbecue. The saline finish and skin-contact grip make it the most food-flexible wine in the Cosecha Collaborations range.
