THE VIBE
A Penedès white with a 40-year track record. When Carlos Esteve becamse the first vigneron to grow orgnically and blend Xarel-lo with Chenin Blanc in the 1980s, it was genuinely unusual — both varieties were undervalued, and the combination was unproven. Gran Caus Blanco has since become one of the estate's defining wines and a benchmark for Catalan white winemaking.

THE TASTE
Golden yellow with greenish tints. The nose is subtle — ripe lemon, juicy peach, delicate white flowers — without being showy. The palate has real complexity: creamy texture, firm acidity, and a distinctive mineral-saline finish that makes it linger. No oak aging; the texture comes entirely from meticulous vineyard and cellar work.

THE STORY
Can Ràfols dels Caus holds a special relationship with Cosecha Imports. The first truly artisanal cellar we visited back in 2006, it was the start of a special journey to seek the best in the world of wine that still continues today — this wine is available in some of Toronto's best restaurants and is rarely found outside that network. The estate is certified organic and farms its own vineyards, treating each parcel individually.

BEST ENJOYED WITH
Serve at 10–12°C. A genuinely versatile table white — grilled fish, risotto, goat cheese, or roast vegetables. The saline finish makes it particularly good with shellfish.
