This vintage of Palo Blanco—hailed by the winemakers of Envínate themselves as their finest bottling to date—is a crystalline reflection of its unique, high-altitude source material. The wine is named after the premium vineyard zone within Los Realejos on Tenerife, considered one of the Canary Islands' most elite sites for growing Listán Blanco (the grape known globally as Palomino).
In the glass, this is a white wine defined by its breathtaking energy and precision. It presents as utterly electric, linear, and high-toned, possessing a profound saline character that speaks directly of the ocean and volcanic soil.
The aromatic and flavor profile is captivatingly complex: a core of flinty minerality and subtle smoky chalk is wrapped around nuances of fresh vanilla bean and the faintest spritz of tangerine. Adding to its singular complexity are unexpected, savory notes of sesame oil.
