Made from 70-100 year old Listan Prieto vines grown on sandy volcanic soils near the Teide volcano. The red 2022 Benje Tinto  is floral, expressive, clean and elegant, reflecting a very good year in the region, with notes of rose petals and talcum powder, a fine texture and very elegant tannins. This has to be the most elegant Benje to date. 28,000 bottles produced. 

Energetic, bright and not overly tanninc. Cherry brushed with sea breeze, smoky strawberry fruit and crushed peppercorn. Robert Parker 94+
 


Pair it with herb-roasted Lamb or Greek lemon potatoes.
