Brezo Blanco is a varietal blend of 80% Godello and 20% Doña Blanca, a grape known locally as Valenciana. Brezo Blanco is a fresh, cle an white that can be enjoyed year-round.
The grapes for Mengoba's Brezo Blanco come from several plots. Those of Valtuille and Villafranca are more clay based while the vines in Carracedo are stony and those in Espanillo are slate.
The wine is fermented with wild yeasts in steel vats and then raised on its fine lees with weekly battonage for 5 months. No oak is used at this level.
