Out of the three Peixes cuvées by Fedellos do Couto, Camandula is the most powerful and textural wine. The Peixes wines are grown and made higher up in Bibei, where the soils are infused with a unique type of granite called mica.
Camandula is a field blend made from mostly Soucon - a native grape to Portugal, as well as Mencía, Mouranton, Grao Negro, Garnacha Tintorera, Bastardo, Godello, Doña Blanca, and Palomino.
Amazing freshness on the nose along with red fruits, sour cherries, and a slightly rustic, herbaceous scent. Surprisingly soft, with all the aromas now repeated on the palate, light in body with a medium long dry finish.
