Out of the three Peixes cuvées by Fedellos do Couto, Lacazan is the most powerful and textural wine. The Peixes wines are grown and made higher up in Bibei, where the soils are infused with a unique type of granite called mica.
Lacazan is a field blend made from mostly Soucon - a native grape to Portugal, as well as Mencía, Mouranton, Grao Negro, Garnacha Tintorera, Bastardo, Godello, Doña Blanca, and Palomino.
Complex and intense, Lacazan showcases great high and low tones with some spice and structure. Powerful and tannic, Lacazan has a richness, freshness and wildness to it.
