Beatum Tinto is 70% Mencia and 30% Palomino Fino grown on brown slate soils between 500-600 m elevation near the town of Potes in the Valle de Liébana, Picos de Europa, Cantabria. 

Juicy black currant scents are followed by earth notes and blackberries. Subtle hints of leather, fresh pine followed by elegant lavender. Finally, the sweetness of cinnamon combined with hints of truffle complete the complex nose. 

Soft and round on the palate, gradually growing wider. Savoury and saline, bringing memories paprika, cumin and sea salt. A silky touch that combines nicely with a crisp freshness.
